Compliance intelligence should show its work.

STIRSHAKEN.AI is designed to organize compliance decisions—not to impersonate a regulator. This page explains what the platform can establish, what remains preliminary, where Sia is allowed to act, and where a qualified human must approve the next step.

Decision provenance

Every meaningful conclusion should be traceable to its basis. The platform separates customer-provided facts, deterministic rules, external-source results and human review instead of blending them into one “AI answer.”

  • Source name and verification date where available
  • Rule version and requirement key for computed findings
  • Exceptions when evidence is absent or conflicting
  • Audit history for material workflow actions

Sia’s role

Sia can explain, collect, summarize, search approved knowledge, prepare drafts and route work. Public Sia cannot sign filings, certify compliance, pay invoices, change customer records or promise a regulatory outcome.

  • Public mode has no customer or internal CRM access
  • Portal mode is scoped to the authenticated customer
  • Staff data is assignment-scoped
  • Sensitive actions require authenticated approval and verified backend results

Evidence states

A blank field is not a pass, and a customer statement is not source verification. Requirements use explicit evidence states so uncertainty remains visible.

ConfirmedCurrent evidence supports the requirement.
StaleEvidence exists but needs re-verification.
MissingRequired evidence has not been supplied.
UnknownThe platform lacks enough facts to decide.

SHIELD SCORE™

The score is a decision-support summary computed from versioned requirement status and weights. It is not an FCC, USAC, STI-GA or certificate-authority score, and it is not itself proof of compliance. The underlying requirements and evidence matter more than the number.

Compliance Checker

The public checker is a preliminary screen. A result may be public-source verified, format-only, temporarily unavailable or routed for specialist review. It does not replace primary-source confirmation, legal analysis or a complete review of the operator’s facts.

Human control

Customer authorization, signatures, submissions, payment confirmation, refunds, credential changes and other binding actions remain controlled. Sia may prepare a work package, but a qualified person verifies the facts and authority before filing.

Security and privacy

The application uses tenant-scoped portal queries, role permissions, CSRF protection, rate limits, signed payment webhooks, MIME-validated uploads and access-controlled file delivery. Secrets are stored outside public pages and are never displayed by readiness checks.

No regulatory affiliation

STIRSHAKEN.AI is an independent compliance technology and services platform. It is not the FCC, USAC, STI-GA, an STI-PA, a certificate authority or a law firm, and use of the platform does not imply approval, certification or endorsement by those organizations. Official status must be confirmed through the applicable primary source.

Question a result

If a result looks wrong, ask for the source, evidence state and review status. We will route the item for human verification instead of hiding uncertainty.
